Mission Statement

The purpose and goal of the Houston Flute Club is to cultivate, promote, sponsor, and develop among its members and the general public the appreciation of the flute and flute music through performance, education, and exposure to all varieties of flute-related activities, while providing an encouraging environment for flutists of every level.

About

Established in 1982, Houston Flute Club membership includes professional performers and teachers, students, adult amateurs, and flute enthusiasts. The Flute Choir of the Houston Flute Club rehearses monthly, and currently performs approximately four times a year. Each year the HFC sponsors a Flute Fest which offers competitions, masterclasses, recitals, and seminars.

The HFC is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. All donations are tax deductible. EIN 76-0200859
